The freestanding house at Marka Marulića 23, 21327 Podgora is located in the immediate vicinity of the beach (approx. 200 m.), in a quiet location on a side street with little traffic. Podgora is ideally located for day trips to the islands Korčula, Hvar and Brac, the cities Makarska, Split and Dubrovnik. Podgora is located under the Biokovo Nature Park, there is a Skywalk viewpoint nearby. The highest point of the mountain is 1762 m and is called Sveti Jure, which can be reached by hiking or by car. From the Biokovo Mountains one has the most breathtaking view of the Adriatic coast, as well as the Dalmatian backland. Podgora is located in the heart of Dalmatia and is often called the princess of the croatian Adria. Podgora can be reached by Split or Dubrovnik airport, the coastal road and the highway (35 km.).
